BIO Facts: Educator and Co-Author... Shaunna is an award-winning educator who has taught numerous courses in education and psychology. She co-authored the C.L.i.C. SUCCESS DYNAMICS textbook and Teacher's Guide. Additionally, Shaunna has written several publications and presented at state and national conferences. For six years, she served as the co-director of a statewide educational assessment program.
Education History: Shaunna received her undergraduate degree from the University of Scranton. She obtained advanced degrees from the University of Delaware specializing in School Psychology (M.A.) and Education (Ph.D.). In 1994 she received the Woman of Excellence Award from the University of Delaware. She received the Distinguished Community Service Award from the ARC of Delaware in 2002.
Specialty Skills: Shaunna is an educational consultant with expertise in the areas of psychology, motivation and assessment. She conducts courses and train-the-trainer workshops focusing on topics such as communication, conflict resolution, teamwork and instructional methods.
My Approach to Education is... based on the belief that all students can learn and experience success. By embodying the characteristics of effective teaching, learning can be enjoyable for everyone. As educators, it is incredibly rewarding to help others build competence and strive to achieve their fullest potential.
